The title is Enlightened Hunters and Gatherers: Teaching Information Literacy Skills for Life. Possible topic ideas can include IL and distance learning
Assessment; Changing role of instructional librarians; Models for embedding IL into the curriculum (such as working with Center for Teaching); IL programs for targeted populations (honors program, developmental); IL and critical thinking skills; Transliteracy; Using technology in teaching. Proposals should be submitted by February 28, 2013 to conference chairs Joy Hansen at email@example.com or Susan Slaga at firstname.lastname@example.org including Title of presentation, Abstract, Names, institutions, contact information, and short bios for all presenters.
