Today is the UK and Ireland's "World Book Day" - not to be confused with the day that the rest of the world celebrates as World Book and Copyright Day, i.e. 23 April. The UK's large publishing industry is very much to the fore, but there is good stuff (e.g. the £1 books and free tokens, to encourage reading) and some interesting resources.
