US National Information Literacy Awareness Month

October is National Information Literacy Awareness Month in the USA.  The month was first celebrated in 2009, with a proclamation from President Obama. Now states in the USA are urged to make declarations for the month, and so far (for this year) Governors in 25 states and 1 US territory have issued proclamations.
