Library Instruction Round Table (LIRT) Awards

Nominations for the 2016 Library Instruction Round Table (LIRT) Awards are called for. There are two awards:
- "The LIRT Librarian Recognition Award will be presented to an individual librarian in appreciation for her/his contributions to the field [of information literacy]"
- "The LIRT Innovation in Instruction Award will be given to a Library that demonstrates innovation in support of information literacy and instruction."
The awards are presented at the American Library Association Annual Conference. Award winners receive a $1,000 award, a plaque, and a $500 travel grant to be used to
attend the ALA Annual Conference. Awards are sponsored by the Library Instruction Roundtable. It doesn't seem to restrict nominations to ALA members or North American librarians. Deadline for nominations is 31 December 2015. More information at http://www.ala.org/lirt/awards
