The United Kingdom's Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport has celebrated Global Media and Information Literacy Week by announcing funding for 17 organisations to fund media literacy projects. The focus is on combatting misinformation and it is "part of the government’s Online Media Literacy Strategy to help people be safe online".
