At the end of last year a report for JISC by Helen Beetham and Sheila MacNeill was published: Approaches to curriculum and learning design across UK higher education which reports on a questionnaire and interview study. At the end is a useful list (with links) of learning design models and frameworks (soooo many acronyms!) that is useful to anyone designing learning. https://beta.jisc.ac.uk/reports/approaches-to-curriculum-and-learning-design-across-uk-higher-education
Sheila MacNeill has an interesting blog, and she blogged yesterday reflecting on this theme https://howsheilaseesit.net/curriculum-design/everything-everywhere-all-the-time-some-thoughts-on-time-space-and-learning-design/
