Social software and learning

An interesting (from a quick skim) report from Future Lab: Social software and learning (Martin Owen, Lyndsay Grant, Steve Sayers and Keri Facer). There are explanations of the terms, commentary and useful links/references. Apparently we may be moving from e-learning to c-learning. One minor quibble is that I think people ought to stop illustrating reports like this just with moody shots of young urban males - as if old rural females didn't engage in learning & use social software too (oops, will attempt to get out of grumpy old person mode).
