Photo by Sheila Webber: the Sheffield peregrine chicks have fledged (flown for the first time) - if you look closely you can see the anxious parent birds swooping round the tower where they nest - today I saw 2 of the fledglings perched near the nesting platform. The blog here has some wonderful photos and the webcam of the nesting box is here (you still see a bird in and around it now and then)
