The Teaching Librarian of the Month is a new feature on the ACRL Instruction Section Teaching Methods Committee Blog. Nominations are requested by 13 March 2015 (it looks like you are not supposed to nominate yourself!) using the online form. In 150-250 words you have to summarise "What makes this person a great teaching librarian? Reviewers will consider the librarian’s enthusiasm, creativity, and dedication. Specific examples of effective and innovative teaching strategies are encouraged." "During select months, the committee will select and interview a librarian who demonstrates a passion for teaching, innovation, and student learning. We’ll feature this interview as a way to highlight best teaching practices and learn from colleagues!" Go to http://acrl.ala.org/isteach/librarian-of-the-month/tlom-nomination-form
